Alleged wife killer Mr. Lekan Shonde who granted an interview with Punch yesterday claiming that he only pushed his wife and did not beat her to death.
He also claimed that the late wife was cheating on him and was abusing him.
Ronke Shonde’s family has come out to debunk Lekan’s claims in the interview, saying it is untrue.
A family source said; “I think what he’s trying to do is put up a defence mechanism to make him feel like he’s the victim here. Everything he said in the interview is a lie.
“The family will tell their own side of the story when the time is right. All we want him to do now is show up” the source said.
