CONGRATULATIONS!!! A’rese Wins Season 1 Of 'The Voice Nigeria'

 

The battle has finally come to an end….

After a few months of stiff competition amidst tension and uncertainty, a winner has finally emerged from the first season of The Voice Nigeria.

A’rese Emokpae , a 28 year-old stage actress, who has appeared in various theatre acts and musicals, took the much coveted position after competing against Chike, Brenda, Cornell, Patrick, Viveeyan, Nonso Bassey and Dewe .

Ladies’ man and crowd favourite, Chike, was the first runner up, followed by Brenda and Cornell; two equally great performers.

It was a nail-biting finale as A’rese and Chike made the Top 2. They performed “Halleluyah” by Jeff Buckly and “Mama” by Kiss Daniel respectively.

The entire final episode was thrilling with all the Top 8 contestants bringing their A-game.

The team performances were a major highlight with Waje, 2Baba, Patoranking and Timi Dakolo performing alongside their top 2 team members.
