A three-storied building located on Swamp Street, Lagos
Island, has collapsed leaving undisclosed numbers of
residents trapped.
Seven occupants have been rescued from the wreckage of
the unfortunate incident which happened around 10
am by some rural dwellers before the arrival of
emergency workers..
Some of the rescued victims are said to be currently
receiving treatment at the Sura Health Centre on the
Island.
Meanwhile, government agents and other relief workers
can be seen at the scene evacuating those who are still
trapped in the disaster.
