UNILAG Lecturer (Also A Politician) Dies In Auto Crash

Ibadan politician and UNILAG
lecturer, Hon. Adepegba Adegbenjo
has died in a car crash. The lecturer
died monday, 22nd of December,
2014 in a car crash. According to
Comrade Jeremiah Olatinwo, the
Zonal Public Relations Officer (South
West), National Association of
Nigerian Students (NANS), who
confirmed his demise, said it is a big
blow to the students, lecturers and
the university community at large.
Late Adegbenjo was a member of
the House of Representatives from
2003 to 2007 where he represented
Ibarapa Central/North Federal
Constituency on the platform of
Alliance of Democracy. He had also
clinched the 2015 Labour Party
ticket for Oyo South senatorial
district before his tragic death.
Adegbenjo, 52, is survived by two
children.
