At least 40 people have died this
evening when three explosions rocked
Gombe, the capital of Gombe state,
just a week after twin blasts killed 50
people at the city’s central market.
According to reports, today’s casualty
figure is expected to be high, but AFP
already reports that atleast 40 have
been confirmed dead.
The first two explosions occurred at a
busy motor park. The blasts,
suspected to be from Improvised
Explosive Devices worn by suicide
bombers, occurred at about 7p.m.
The explosions took place minutes
apart inside Dadin Kowa motor park.
The third blast occurred nearly two
hours after the first attacks.
