An explosion has occurred at the
Damaturu Sunday Market in Yobe State.
The explosion occurred on Sunday at
about 10:07am.
Though the casualty figure could not
be obtained as at press time, several
persons, The Eagle Online learnt,
died.
Security personnel were busy
evacuating corpses and the injured
when this report was filed.
Security operatives at the scene of the
explosion included soldiers,
policemen, Nigerian Security and Civil
Defence Corps, Federal Road Safety
Corps and Nigeria Fire Service.
