Man Sets Fuel Station On Fire While Trying To Kill Spider With Cigarette Lighter

A man realized he was stup*d after he
tried to roast a Spider near his petrol
tank while filling up his car at a Fuel
station.
The unidentified man in Michigan,
wasn’t thinking when he tried to
burn a spider that was crawling on
his car with his cigarette lighter.
The fire swiftly spread due to the
fuel fumes engulfed the fuel pump.
An employee at the gas station
quickly hit the automatic stop button
and then called the fire department.
The man grabbed a fire extinguisher
and put out the flames before
firefighters arrived.
The foolish man then admitted to
investigators that he saw a spider
crawling on his gas tank before
trying to burn it alive. Lucky for
him, his car was not damaged by the
fire and only one fuel pump got
burnt.
He went back to the fuel station the
next day to apologize. The damage to
the gas station is expected to be
covered by accident insurance.

Topic :- WAY OUT OF EMBARRASSMENT – Wednesday September 30th 2015

Memorise:
And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. Isaiah 42:16

Read: John 2:1-11
1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

MESSAGE!
Jesus Christ declared to His disciples that He is the way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). As the Way, He is the exit from that very evil location you may find yourself. He is the Way out of sickness and also the Way out of death. If you are facing any situation pertaining to death, He is the Way out. In Acts 9:36-42,
Dorcas died and the widows mourned her because of her good works which had been a blessing to them. She was the visible hand of God that the widows could relate with. So when Peter arrived, they began to make a case for her to live. Do you know that when some believers die, almost everyone who knew them would prefer that they were left dead, because they made no meaningful impact? If you were called home to be with the Lord today, how many people would want you to be restored to life? Can your works speak for you like those of Dorcas? When Peter heard of her works, he commanded Dorcas to come back to life in the Name of Jesus. She lived to continue her ministry to the widows. You too can command the dead to rise in the Name of Jesus and life shall be restored back to them, if only you have faith in Jesus and you are a part of Him.

Moreover, Jesus is the Way out of embarrassment. In today’s Bible reading, while a wedding celebration was going on in Cana of Galilee, the wine finished. How embarrassing! It was possible the guest they had were far more than what they had prepared for. Some of their guests who had not been served were seated and expecting to be served. If they were to arrange for more wine, it would have cost them a lot in time, money and logistics. While they bothered about what to do and confusion was beginning to set in, Mary got wind of what was going on and informed Jesus about it. Pre-empting Him, she instructed the servants at that feast to wait on the Lord. At the nick of time, the Lord turned the water available into the wine they lacked. Everyone who took of that wine confessed that they had never taken a better wine in all their lives. The Lord not only saved the day, but also turned an embarrassing situation into a most special moment for all and sundry. Imagine the joy of the couple and that of their families! Are you facing any form of embarrassment? Take it to the Lord in prayer and have faith in His ability to intervene, and He will make a way for you.

Action Point:
Intercede for every believer facing an embarrassing situation around you, that they will receive God’s way out now.

Man Who Donated His Hotel Building To Catholic Church, Turns Keke “Driver” (Photos)

Mr Ray Morphy first caught our
attention a few weeks ago when he
went above and beyond to donate his
hotel building in Lafia, Nasarawa
State, to a catholic church to have it
converted into a hospital for the
Internally Displaced Persons.
His extraordinary gesture, was an
inspirational act of kindness that
didn’t go unnoticed.
Morphy recently did something that
most Nigerians wouldn’t dare
attempt. Living the simple life!
In a bid to see what it felt like living
the life of an average Nigerian
hustler, Morphy took a day out, got
hold of a tricycle and pretended to
be a real Keke Napep rider.
The shocking reactions he got from
passengers pretty much summed up
his experience.
Below is how he tells his story:
MY DAY AS A KEKE OPERATOR
“I am back and I had a lot of fun
today cruising the city as a keke
Operator!
Lots of fun carrying passengers to
their destinations and then refusing
their money.
Come and see surprise, consternation,
wonderment and even fear!
Moreover, I had a blast speaking to
passengers with an Oxford accent.
Some pitied me when I told them I
just returned from UK and since I had
no job, I took to keke riding.
Come and see sympathy. Ordinary
Nigerians are truly kind and loving
people! God bless you all for your
kind hearts!
It was fun and I had the pleasure of
sharing and interacting with people I
would never had met otherwise! Glad
I had the brainwave to do this.
A couple of females even shed tears of
sympathy for me. They were sad that
I came back home from abroad only
to become a keke Operator! Women
can be so kind!”

BVN: No Further Extension After October 31st Deadline, CBN Warns

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has
made it clear that there would not be
further extension when the October 31,
2015 deadline for the bank verification
(BVN) elapses.
This, according to the banking sector
regulator means that customer
without the BVN-linked accounts
may risk being restricted from
normal operations of their accounts
or free access to their bank account
balances by the end of next month.
It revealed that statistical trend of
the BVN registration exercise showed
with about 52 million active bank
accounts in various banks, total
enrolment stood at about 20 million,
out of which about 14 million
accounts have been linked to the
BVN as at September, 2015.
It emphasised in a statement at the
weekend that BVN is now mandatory
requirement for opening new bank
accounts, adding that those to be
affected by the restrictions are
customers whose accounts were
opened prior to the commencement
of the BVN scheme.
The CBN, in collaboration with the
bankers’ committee, introduced the
BVN on February 14, 2014. This
initiative of the bankers’ committee
is aimed at ensuring unique identity
for all bank customers and other
users of financial services in the
country by the use of the customers’
biometrics as means of
identification.
Initially, it was estimated that all
bank customers would, within a
period of 18 months, complete
enrolment in the new system of
customer identification. The
enrolment for the scheme can be
done in banks across the country.
One of the most potent arguments
advanced by banks for not extending
enough credit to prospective credit
customers in Nigeria has been the
absence of credible identity system.
Thus, it was agreed that the scheme
would make access to credit easier
for people in the low income earners
in the society, which include
employees and entrepreneurs of
micro, small and medium enterprises
(MSMEs), students etc.
“At the expiration of the estimated
18 months after the launch,
empirical evidence showed that a
good number of bank customers
were reluctant and never took the
exercise seriously. Thus, few days to
the end of the mandatory 18 months,
which was June 30, 2015, there was
commotion and stampede in banking
halls across the country, as
customers were pushing, shoving
and climbing on each other in order
to beat the deadline for the BVN
registration.
“This confusion necessitated the call
for the extension of the registration
dateline by four months to October
31, 2015. What is required is for a
bank customer to visit any branch of
his bank and the desk officer would
capture his finger print and a
photograph of his face, his signature
and demand for a photocopy of
either of his driving license, national
identity card or international
passport of the customer.
“The question now is whether bank
customers have been taking
advantage of the extension to
complete their BVN registration, and
also ensure that their various bank
accounts have been linked to the
BVN,” it stated.
Another interesting trend, according
to the central bank showed that after
the initial rush between the end of
June and July 2015, there has been a
steady decline in new BVN
enrolment figures for August and
September, 2015.
“The emerging scenario therefore,
strongly suggests that many bank
account holders have continued to
show apathy instead of taking
advantage of the extension period.
“Given this development, there is the
apprehension that the commotion
and melee experienced at various
banking halls in the month of June
2015 would be repeated if customers
do not use the remaining one month
to ensure that they complete their
BVN registration, and also get their
various accounts linked to the BVN.
“The CBN has made it clear that there
would not be further extension after
October 31, 2015 deadline. This
means that customer without the
BVN-linked accounts may risk being
restricted from normal operations of
their accounts or free access to their
bank account balances,” it added.

Topic :- ONLY HIS NAME – Tuesday September 29th 2015

Memorise:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Philippians 2:10

Read: Philippians 2:9-11;
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

MESSAGE:
The desire and plan of God is for all His children to be deliverance ministers (Mark 16:17). He wants us to exercise His dominion on earth, so that if demons are obstructing the lives, destinies and progress of anybody, when they meet anyone of us, they would be freed. However, only very few believers are actively doing this. Any believer who wants to walk in the reality of the plan of God concerning casting out demons must have the knowledge of some basic truths. First and foremost, they must have an intimate knowledge of the Great Deliverer – the Lord Jesus Christ. The closer you move to Jesus and know Him, the more grace you will derive from Him to cast out devils, heal the sick raise the dead, and more. (Daniel 11:32).

What are the things you need to know about Jesus? You need to know the power in His Name. Our Bible reading teaches that Jesus Christ has a Name to which everything and everyone must bow. Some ministers have fallen into error because they have gained so much popularity and have tasted the anointing of the Holy Ghost. Because they have been used of God several times to perform miracles, they are now close to casting out devils in their own names! We are told to command demons to go in the Name of Jesus and not by any other name. if you ever use your name, you will get into trouble with God and with demons. If you are now using your name to cast out demons, you are becoming another Jesus and preaching another gospel. Know that this act carries a curse (Galatians 1:9). Even Paul, with all his anointing and experiences of the supernatural, continued to cast out demons in the Name of Jesus Christ (Acts 16:16-18). A man attended a program one day and instead of being delivered, his problem was compounded. He was loaded with demons, so much so that he could not stand, sit or walk: he just lay down. When he was brought to us, I commanded him to kneel for prayers, but he said he could not. I commanded him again, and he asked me, “In whose name? I said “In the Name of Jesus.” He answered, “Oh, that one is different”, and he complied. After prayers, I said to him “Stand up and go home.” But he replied that he could not stand. So I commanded him again to obey. He then asked “In whose name?” I replied “In the Name of Jesus.” He said again, “That one is different”, and he stood up. Then I commanded him to go home, take his bath and be normal again. Once again he asked “In whose name?” I said “In the Name of Jesus.” He answered once more” That one is different”, and he obeyed. Praise God for the power in the Name of Jesus!

Key Point:
Some ministers are gradually moving the shine away from Jesus to themselves, thereby treading on every dangerous ground. Be warned!

Nigerian Employees At Lagos Chinese Firm Narrates Stories Of Death & Slavery(Photo) - Punch Metro

Emeka Umoh, an employee of Hongxing Steel
Company Limited in the Amuwo Odofin area of
Lagos State, was scalded to death after
liquefied iron spilled on his body last
Wednesday while on duty.
He died at the Lagos University Teaching
Hospital, where he was rushed to for treatment.
Another worker, Adebayo Ajiboye, was
reportedly squeezed to death by a compressor
sometime in February.
It was gathered that there was almost a face-
off between the management of the company
and the workers, after the management decided
to take the remains of the father of three to a
morgue in a tipper.
Twenty-three-year old Obinna Eze, an indigene
of Ebonyi State, who recently lost three fingers
to a compressor, accused the management of
the company of disregard for human lives.
Eze, who spoke with Punch at the Federal
Medical Centre, Ebute-Meta, where he was
admitted to, said he had left Ebonyi State for
Lagos in January 2015, to “hustle”, adding that
he joined the steel company with high hopes.
He said:
“We had to work through targets,
which we call tonnage. Everyday, the
amount of work you do is weighed
on a scale, and you write your pay
for the day down. Everything is
summed up into what you collect
every month. Sometimes I get N35,
000 every month, depending on how
hard I work.
“I was among the workers operating
the compressor, which we use to
compress iron. On 10 August,
around 5.50am, I was cleaning up
the machine we had used to work
overnight, when I noticed a crane
heading in my direction. As I was
trying to escape it, I never knew
when my hand became trapped in
the compressor.”
He said the machine chopped off three fingers,
after which he was taken to the hospital.
“I am in pain right now. I have just
started my life, but with this, I don’t
know what to do again. I am
confused,” he added.
Eze said there were regular accidents, which
were usually caused by faulty machines.
He said:
“Accidents happen from time to
time. Workers sustain lifelong
deformities like my own. Some
people die. The reason is because
when the machines are faulty and we
call our bosses to repair them, they
simply tell us to manage them.”
Punch met with another worker of the company
admitted in another hospital, who said he
sustained a fracture after he was trapped by a
machine in the company.
The worker, who spoke on condition of
anonymity, alleged that the company
management treated its Nigerian workers as
slaves. He said they were forced to work round
the clock for a meager pay.
He said:
“I have been working for more than
one year, and yet, I have not been
given an employment letter. The
company does not have permanent
factory workers and that is why they
can fire us at any time.
“People die in the company like fowl
and nothing happens about it.
Ajiboye was my friend and he was
very hungry that fateful day. He
asked us for money to eat, but
nobody gave him. He later bought
biscuit and went back to work.
“A few minutes later, I heard a
scream and by the time we rushed
there, the compressor had crushed
him to death.
“Our Chinese bosses brought a
tipper and as they moved his
remains into it, we started
protesting. We were careful because
we knew we could also lose our
jobs.
“We did not allow them to take the
corpse out in the tipper until they
got an ambulance,” he said.
The worker alleged that some members of staff
were sometimes beaten up by their Chinese
bosses. He said if any of the workers
complained, the person was quickly fired and
another employee hired.
“There is always a crowd of people
at the gate, waiting to be called in.
So, immediately you are sacked, they
will go to the gate and handpick
people to come in.
“These new people are first placed
on training allowance of N650 per
day and they could be on training for
about six months before they are
placed on salary. But nobody is a
permanent staff.”
He said the workers were always exposed to
hazards, which sometimes led to permanent
injuries. He said:
“Just a few weeks back, liquid iron
poured down the body of one of my
friends and it peeled off half of his
backside. Another person was
blinded after the liquid affected his
eyes.
“The recent case was that of Emeka,
who died on Sunday, September 20,
after the liquid iron spilled on his
body. He was rushed to LUTH,
where he died. There are many more
who have become blinded and
disabled.”
He said many of the workers could not resign
because they had nowhere to turn to.
“There is no rest; we work from
Monday to Sunday, including public
holidays. We are suffering,” he
added
Another worker told PUNCH Metro that people
who worked in the “cook department” were the
worst hit of all the workers in the company.

Reasons Men Are More Likely To Fall In Love Harder And Faster Than Women

There’s a common misconception women are
crazy, running around looking for men to pour
all our love into, dupe into a relationship and
all but smother with possession and affection.
And men? Men are empty.
Any woman who’s been in a relationship,
however, knows this image of the woman is
completely falsified.
If anything, it’s just another way men have
turned the roles around and tried to trick us
into forgetting the truth. What’s the truth?
Women are the cool, calm and collected ones
and men are the ones declaring their love and
crying for devotion and affection.
According to Marissa Harrison, a psychologist
from Pennsylvania State University, women
are much more cautious when it comes to
love and men have a tendency to fall in —
hard and fast.
In a study published in the Journal of Social
Psychology, Harrison asked 172 college
students if they’d ever been in love.
If participants answered yes, she asked how
long it took them to say “I love you.” Not
surprisingly, men were prone to say it much
faster than women, declaring their love after
just a few weeks compared to women, who
took a few months.
But the real question we have is: Why? Why
are men falling in love faster than women?
Why are the usually emotionless, stone-cold-
repressed-feelings “macho men” of the world
weeping like the star of a Nicholas Sparks
novel?
Why does the one group of people who
professes its callousness and determination to
remain single always end up falling so damn
hard?
For all the women out there who’ve been in a
relationship and witnessed the beautiful and
surprising transformation of a calloused
bachelor into a gushing, love-sick mess, you
already understand why men fall much harder
than women.
They’ve spent their lives suppressing
emotions.
Once a pipe bursts, it’s almost impossible to
stop the flow. Men are the same way.
For years, they’ve been bottling up their
emotions, pushing away any type of maternal
guidance and ignoring their urge for nurture.
Once they get it, however, they can’t live
without it anymore. They’ve let everything out,
and they’ll be damned if they’re going to put
it back in again.
Men are much more territorial than women.
Women may have a harder time with the
chase, but men have a harder time with the
hold. Men may be harder to catch, but once
they’re caught, they’re impossible to shake.
They become territorial over their partners the
same way they once did their independence
and their bachelor pads.
They like to display ownership and power,
while also relinquishing all their emotional
control.
They don’t question their emotions — and they
don’t have their emotions questioned.
Unlike women, who are taught to question
every thought and feeling, men go with their
gut and trust it instinctively. They weren’t
raised to wonder if they’re being “too
emotional” or acting “crazy.”
They don’t have to explain their feelings or
second-guess them because they’ve never
been told those feelings are wrong. Thus,
men don’t second-guess when they’re in love.
They never wonder if those strong feelings of
love are really just lust or their attachment is
really just a temporary lid on a void they’re
looking to fill.
They haven’t experienced this type of
connection before.
Women have close, emotional connections
with one another all the time. The friendship
between women is a very deep and pa
$$ionate one. Men, on the other hand, are
cold and tempered around their friends.
They don’t get deep, emotional or “gushy”
with one another. They don’t tell each other
their innermost secrets and desires, and they
don’t share feelings and advice.
When they finally experience the connection
women expect from every relationship, they
have a hard time letting it go.
They want to be like their dad, but still need
their mom.
You don’t need to be Freud to recognize men
never stop loving their mothers. You can’t
possibly be raised and carried by someone for
so long and then just stop craving that sort of
affection and love.
Men may want to act like the strong, proud
fathers they grew up admiring, but they really
just want to be the little boy who is taken
care of again.

SHAMELESS!!! Eniola Badmus Un-cultured Attitude At AMA Awards In South-Africa

Eniola Badmus Un-cultured Attitude at
AMA Awards in South-Africa.
Popularly Yoruba movie actress,
Eniola Badmus aka ‘Gbo Gbo Bigz
Girlz’ almost ruined a colourful
African Movie Academy Awards
ceremony held yesterday 26
September, 2015 at Nelson Mandela
Bay, Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
The uncultured and uncivilized
attitude of the actress happened at
Court Yard Hotel, Port Elizabeth, South
Africa on her way to the airport
where she was to catch a 4:30pm
flight to Johannesburg from where she
would transit back to Nigeria .
The drama started when she asked
the driver of the airport shuttle to
move, while a fellow passenger who
is a guest and also to be on same
flight asked the driver to hold on for
her husband. She immediately
jumped down from the front seat of
the bus where she sat; opened the
vehicle and rained several abuses on
the lady. Using words like ‘I don’t
give a f*ck… She ajo wa ni? (Are we
here together?) Ko ni da fun Iyalaya
e… (It won’t be well with your
grandmother) amongst many other
unprintable words.
Unfortunately, the husband of the
lady in question, who was earlier in
the bus, had gone to look for Eniola
to avoid the bus leaving her behind
at the hotel for the airport.
Many of the passengers pacified her
but she refused until fellow actors
asked her to hold her peace.
Eniola’ s attitude is unbecoming of a
celebrity and supposed role model.
